PGC employs more than 8400 individual via its various divisions in Wind Energy ,Garment Manufacturing & Exporting , Retailing , Information Technology , etc., . Founded by Mr.S.Duraiswamy on 11th Nov 1983 and which is now led by Mr.D.Prem & Mr. Aadith.D.Vikram as the Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively. PGC has nearly 3 decades of experience in textile & garment manufacturing industry with its product presence in Switzerland, Belgium, Scandinavia, USA, Russia & many other countries. With a turnover above 640 Crs it has its growth target achieved in the past 3 years constantly with above 60% growth per annum.

PGC has recently acquired stratagic stake in July 2010 in Switcher Holdings SA which has more than 360 Stores , Corners & Centres and Over 1150 Corporate Clients in Switzerland & Europe . Not only in Europe , PGC Retail being a new wing of PGC has its own other brands too in particular Respect India, Babyloons for the India market and also retail its swiss brand Switcher , Respect & Whale in India with over 200 Counters. To serve the masses of India, the new venture T-Mart has today has evolved to 75 stores in the first 12 months and has plans for huge expansion in the coming years. PGC is also has its own dedicated social wing (DCT & Switcher Foundation) which provide free education via its free school & mobile schools for the poor , free medical camps & supplies , free drinking water supply , free youngster education programme for creation of self employment for the poor ,etc.,

With more than 25000 organically grown trees, 14 MW of Wind Energy, Solar Cooker, etc., has always been a unique way of PGC doing what it does.
